Commissioned by a private client, these geodome covers were created for an incredibly important event – our client's wedding day!
Standing proudly on top of a beautiful Devon hillside, this beautiful geodesic dome is modelling a membrane created from Ferrari Flexlight Lodge Textured PVC.
Working from our client’s 3D drawings, our team were able to meticulously design, cut and high-frequency weld each PVC panel to perfectly fit this bespoke timber geodome.
Now that our client's personal wedding has taken place, the couple now plan to hire the geodome for weddings and other events. In this stunning Devon location, we are sure their geodesic dome will be a very popular choice.
Geodome structures continue to grow in popularity, with large-scale geodesic domes being readily available to hire for a wide range of events, such as festivals, weddings, corporate functions, promotional and hospitality events.
Despite the very short lead times, ever evolving design and zero contingency for error or modification the team at J & J Carter took this project in their stride and delivered! Their knowledge in the field was invaluable during the design process and then when the moment of truth arrived the cover fitted like a glove… and good job too as the wedding was in 7 days!
