Maintenance
Once the structure is erected and handed over to the client, we are able to offer our After Care service.
Like any building, tensile structures will require some, albeit minimal, maintenance. After Care service is key to preserve your Membrane warranty as well as keeping the membranes looking as good as the day it was installed.
The care and maintenance of tensile fabric structures is a skilled trade which only the manufacturer should undertake. When caring for such structures we will not only clean the membrane but ensure that important cable and membrane tensions are maintained. This is critical to the design of the structure.
As part of a annual service, our work includes :-
- Professionally cleaning of the membrane using only approved chemicals by the fabric supplier.
- Checking membrane tensions, and re-tensioning where required.
- Inspection of structure fixings, bolts, cables and tensioners.
- Membrane surface inspection to include checking for any evidence of damage, abrasion, scratches.
- Undertake any minor repairs.
- Production of Inspection Report for client and their insurers.
