J & J Carter offer a Contract Fabrication service, manufacturing products to your design.
Our Membrane Factory occupies some 2000sq.m and employs the latest in advanced manufacturing techniques. The factory is accreditted to I.S.O 9001:2015 for Quality Assurance.
Our textile fabrication facilities are built upon a firm foundation of intense investment in the latest Computer Controlled Cutting, High Frequency Welding, Heat Sealing, Sewing and finishing equipment which include :-
- 25 kN Uni-Axial Tensile Testing Machine
- 20 kN/m Bi-Axial Testing Machine
- High Frequency PVC Welders - longest table 42m with 30 kW and 20 kW welder. 18m table with 8 kW. 7m Gantry 20 kW. Mobile 20 kW.
- Heat Sealing Welders for PTFE and Silicone Coated Glass Fibre fabrics.
- C.N.C Plotter Cutting - 13m x 3m flatbed plotter-cutter, 7.5m x 3m plotter-cutter.
- Various Industrial Sewing Machines, some of which are semi-automatic
- Hydraulic Presses for the fitting of eyelets, rings and various fixtures
- 2 Automated Keder production lines
Our skilled, experienced team and advanced production facilities enable us to provide tensile structures such as air supported domes, fabric frame constructions and tensioned membrane structures, applications include marquees, exhibition halls, sports halls, warehousing, showrooms and corporate hospitality pavilions, among others.
