Chesham Council - Lowndes Park Hypar Shade Canopy
In 2011, J & J Carter were contracted directly by Chesham Council to create a ‘seasonal shade canopy’ which as well as being durable, fire-retardant and waterproof was designed to fit beautifully with its surroundings.
The canopy was required to cover the existing performance area in Lowndes Park, and required to stand in place during May to September.
J & J Carter designed the 7m Hypar Canopy, with all the requirements in mind, complete with a lightweight aluminium base. Being Aluminium meant it was simple to remove and store during the winter months.
