Finkley's Fabric Canopy
Our team were delighted to be approached by a local farm to explore the installation of a tensile fabric canopy. It is always a pleasure to create an installation within our local community and this project was no exception. Finkley Down Farm opened its doors to the public 40 years ago as one of the first ever farm parks in the country. Prior to COVID, the farm would be open 7 days a week to welcome visitors from all around the UK and abroad.
The team at Finkley were keen to ensure the farm was well equipped to comply with social distancing guidelines once they were able to reopen in April 2021. The farm is now the proud owner of two of our savannah fabric canopies. The steel frames have been painted in sky blue to match their corporate colours. The fabric canopies have been made using a DURASKIN White translucent tensile PVC membrane.
This tensile fabric canopy installation has already provided countless visitors to enjoy a rest or bite to eat, while safely social distancing outside. With the future in mind, this fabric canopy has almost doubled the seating capacity and provided an additional area that can now be used all year round.
Excellent product knowledge demonstrated through the number of possible options presented to us. We are very happy with the solution we selected, as it is modular for potential future expansion and can be moved should we have a need to reposition the installation. Our structure is of great quality, delivered and installed both quickly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend J & J Carter.
