Penruddock Primary School needed a tensile structure to provide shade and shelter for students when they were outside. J & J Carter installed their Membrane-Lite Modular Barrel Vault Canopy. The shade canopy is made from a PVC Polyester tensile fabric which has a typical life expectancy of 20 years. The framework is made from tubular hollow section steel, which is treated with a paint system to provide 15 years to first maintenance.
